Another question. Without a Dice or any other computer device, how do you guys make sure the oil is at the right temperature to check the fill level? Do you just wing it?

Is it really that sensitive that being a little over will cause some problems.

Changing the trans fluid, LONG over due. Got the green plastic clip, orings, and a case of Toyota type IV ATF.

I think i have the whole integrated drain/fill level screw figured out.

It actually turned out to be all the brakes. The front rotors were slightly warped and the pads were glazed. Probably because I used cheap Duralast pads in a crunch. The rears were shot.

Sound just like when the pads are really worn and you are wearing into the rotors.
