Today I tried to remove the burnt female contact from the connector with no luck. The green plastic was crumbling and the contact getting bent. Replaced the relay again over the weekend. It lasted less than 24 hours. It lost highest speed again.

Just finished replacing the heater fan relay again and have all 4 speeds once again. The relay I removed had a bubble on the side (nearest the engine). This is the same terminal that was toasted last year. Still would like a permanent fix. Any ideas? Thanks. Scott

Peanut butter helps remove adhesive residue from paint. Rub it on with your finger instead of eating it off a spoon. I combined it with WD-40.

Germs aren't a problem but stretched or decayed belts would be. Thinking about maybe gluing something on top of the red buttons before it's too far gone.

Both front seatbelt release buttons on my 1994 850 wagon (9/93 build date) have 1/4 inch holes in the middle. It just turned 117K but the red plastic buttons are thin and brittle. Any suggestions on a fix other than swapping out from a P&P which leaves me a little squeamish? I'm afraid if I wait...
