Anyone looking for an AC condenser? I bought one a while back and never got around to fitting in. My V70s are both gone now and it's no good for my 90, 60 or 50! It's got a make date 0f Dec 18 but still in its box as new stored inside.

Have driven many makes of manual over last 20 years and 2000 model V70 is a light and smooth clutch/shift combination and a pleasure to drive if all mechanicals are in good order.

Only ever any slight 'stiffness' in the change during the first 5 minutes of warm up.

A few more checks done now.

Low side reads 60 psi without compressor running.

Tried jumpering pressostat during pressure test but compressor wouldn't start. Checked pressostat switch socket and steady 12v going through to compressor but no start.

Thanks for that Lee, tried jumpering the low pressure switch and the compressor starts / stops on the button. Great stuff! First time I've seen it working and at least I know the mag clutch works when cold. Didn't run it for long, need to get the gas pressure tested now!

Hello again. Looked at the compressor carefully and realised that you can see the end plate turning when the compressor engages. Didn't spot this before - doh!
