i read some wheres that xc90 and also the S60 BCM is the same
Same hardware different software. Even if you get one from a 2002 V70XC, it still needs to be married to the vehicle. Software reload at the dealer or a software transfer by a cloner.

You need a code reader that can read the B rake C ontrol M odule (BCM) and the T ransmission C ontrol M odule (TCM). VIDA-DiCE is recommended. Generic code readers cannot read the BCM or the TCM. Best guess based on what information you have it is: the BCM AKA ABS. ----------------------------------...

Re: 'Gear Selector Service Required' and TCM-DD01

TCM-DD01 The communication lead between the gear selector module (GSM) and the transmission control module (TCM) is short-circuited to voltage or ground.

Check the wiring between the GSM and the TCM.

When I got in the car, with the key, the ignition started it at first try.
Do you have your foot on the accelerator when you crank?

Re: 2005 XC90 T6 Executive Project Car.

You sure they are not listed in VIDA? Have you tried another model? Ah Heck! It is a matter of guessing the correct term to find something. In the repair section it is Vibration Damper. In the parts section it is Oscillation Damper. Flange screw M10x35, Full thread, Grade 10.9, VPN: 985383, . FCP h...

Re: 2005 XC90 T6 Executive Project Car.

I have always reused them - did not know they were single use. Torque is not that high for the size of the bolt and they are not AL. Install (Per VIDA) 1. The rubber sleeve on the underside of the oil pump 2. The vibration damper. Use new screws . Tighten and angle tighten. (Stage 1........35 Nm, S...

Re: 2005 XC90 T6 Executive Project Car.

The four Vibration damper bolts are stretched like head bolts and they are not supposed to be reused.
I cannot find the bolts, part number or any other information on them.

Re: 2005 XC90 T6 Executive Project Car.

There is a charging circuit for the NiCads so don't leave non NiCads hooked up for too long). The battery pack Rating: 7.2V 150mAh. The 3 cells are N2H280, they are Sealed NiMH ( Ni ckel- M etal H ydride). Which is a good thing because they been phasing out NiCad ( Ni ckel– Cad mium) for the last 1...

Re: 2005 XC90 T6 Executive Project Car.

Start by cleaning it with some alcohol and a Q-tip, but be careful not to further damage any of the traces. It is gone. Started to clean it and one of the surface mount transistors lifted clean off the board. Eric Vo-Vo has some tested used units for $75 in their eBay store ($129 on their website) ...
