Greetings and salutations,
I hope that all are well and the consequences of the virus have not adversely affected your lives. I am a DIYer on my '08 S80 T6 AWD. I was told that I have loose wires on my #1 knock sensor and I can't find the location of said sensor. Can anyone here help me locate it?

Re: Radiator cooling fan issues
Do you know if the CTS (Coolant Temp Sensor) is an original Volvo item or an aftermarket one? Its screwed in the thermostat housing. I bought the entire housing aftermarket. I then removed the new one from the new housing and replaced the old one with it. Still have a new housing but, i replaced th...

I found out that the A/C compressor needed to be replaced. Once it was replaced and charged, fan operation returned to normal.Brentscrazyptwo wrote: ↑23 Mar 2019, 08:40 Theoneforeva, how was your issue resolved? My S60 2.5T AWD is doing the same thing. Thanks!

Re: Battery draining with switch off
From what I can tell, two batteries later, the alternator has been tested and is charging. Something is causing the dash to continue to display info after shut-off and key removal. The maintenance required warning in the info center can be turned off with the read button but it continues to pull aft...

Battery draining with switch off
I have a 2006 S80 2.5t that was purchased after an engine swap. Ran well for a few weeks, then started having to get a jump every time I turned it off. Checked all fuses and connections found only one not connected (may be a topic for a later post). My question is does the CEM drain power while the ...

Radiator cooling fan issues
I have read that the radiator fan on the S80 is dependent on the A/C and not temperature. Is this true? I have a 2004 S80 T5 that I bought a little over a year ago. The fan has run from the time that I started it until the 3-5 minute period after shut-off. I didn't have a problem with it until 3 day...

Thanks. Do you propose that I go to a dealer? Dealer prices are horrendously high.

2004 S80 Xemodex replacement concerns
Has anyone ever had the Xemodex ABS repair done and still I experienced the same problems? I got it done last month and it ran perfectly for 8 days. The, the "stop safely, Brake failure" lights returned. Turned it off for 5 minutes and it was like it never happened. Has happened twice more...
