Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

Changed fuel filter. The wife the other day mentioned that she thought she was recently getting worst gas mileage. I kinda blew her off and just blamed it on here frequent trip done the street to Cogo's on a cold engine. Well yesterday i go to investigate a wheel bearing hum and while looking under ...

Re: My Volvo saga continues..Brakes

Did you also heat up the wheel bearing ? i was only "trying" to heat up the hub and then squirting water inside the axle bolt hole. But after more failed attempts and knowing spare parts were around the corner, it was gloves off and i torched the whole darn thing. The grease boiled out of...

Ya, the wifes XC90 just developed a wheel bearing noise. Havent narrowed it down to front or rear yet but i'll probably just buy the knuckle/hub and axle again before i even start

I drew up a hud tool yesterday to cut on the plasma table. It will bolt down with lugs, and has a 1" bolt in center to press axle out than i can hammer on. Its made to fit 5x100 up to 5x115 bolt patterns

Re: My Volvo saga continues..Brakes

Tried changing the ABS ring on front right axle yesterday. Couldn't get the shaft out of the hub. Splines seized solid. I just had it out easily a couple years ago too when i changed bevel gear

Re: GoPro on a low quality control arm

TerryJr - this gets the post of the Month award for crappy parts awareness That is terrifying for a new part. This will get cross-posted to the P80 and P2 Fora Haha thanks. Just swapped on MOOG arms and it feels safe again. Needs an alignment and new tires but I could see the bushing quality was ni...

Will work again after an ignition restart. -the obvious swerving issue -CD player makes god awful noises every time you start it for about 3...
