Does anybody know what this problem is? Could it be a problem with the electronic throttle?

The engine just completely suddenly cuts out at low speeds or when slowing down - it is an intermittent problem.

My V70 2.4 SE (2003 reg) auto engine keeps suddenly cutting out when travelling at low speeds <20mph or slowing down. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?
