Why would it be a dealer reset only? VIDA+DICE isn't really an issue. I'm looking at a 2002 Volvo V70 XC for my mother-in-law. Read the codes, preferably with DiCE+VIDA, but as one hypothetical reason you may have worn transmission selector position sensor.
