Re: 2007 XC90 V8 oil pan seal kit?

This Toyota "Formed In Place Gasket" is the best sealer that I know of. It's inexpensive picked up at the Toyota dealer. A Mercedes Tech recommended it to me to re-seal the cam covers on my E320 several years ago and it's really good. P/N 00295-00103 https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.com/oem-parts/...

Unless you have a diesel, I don't believe that the XC90 has an EGR.

Re: Crank No Start

Yea i know, but will the Vida pull codes when my regular code scanner wouldnt?? Yes, there are a ton of Volvo codes that do not show up on an OBDII scanner. But that's not the point. VIDA contains all of the diagnostics, repair procedures and the parts catalog for your car. Flying blind without it

Wiper Arm Cover/Cap Removal Technique

I'm wanting to switch out the complete wiper arms from my 2003 parts XC90 to my 2006 XC90 mostly because I have a ton of blades that will not fit the 2006 arms. Easy, right? No. I am having a little trouble removing the caps Part# 8662847 that cover the nut on the arms of the 2006. There was only on...

Re: Intermittent Heat - 2005 XC90 2.5T Topic is solved

Sounds like the blend door is opening and closing. Does it happen/ make a difference when: -the climate control is on auto or manual? -is the hot/cold air happening at all vents? -the re-circulation is on? -on manual on just vent or on manual with just floor setting on? -independently of where the t...

Re: 2009 Volvo XC90 - Hella Turbo Actuator Replacement

" Also, I have a question, what does it mean "plug and play"? Is that a bad thing? " The re-builder states that the actuator would need no further adjustments or programing required. Just install it and drive. I do not know if that is the case. "plug and play" is a phrase meaning that a thing is rea...

I'm not going to get back into the oil wars, but the Amsoil ATF is nowhere near the spec of the Mobil 3309 ATF that most on here use: https://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g3110.pdf https://www.mobil.com/english-us/passenger-vehicle-lube/pds/glxxmobil-atf-3309 Is Amsoil better than the Volvo spec...
