Well the cbv doesnt hold vacuum well, it loses it over about 5 to ten seconds. So I was going to replace but was also going to adjust the wastegate rod but I pulled the rod off and i couldn't hardly move it by hand but maybe 1/8 inch. How far should the rod move total? I pulled it off and cleaned it up and put compressed air to it and it move half inch total that way but pretty hard to move by hand now but moves more than before. Is a half inch correct? The wastegate arm moves way more than that.

The vacuum actuator for the wastegate on the turbo is stuck, can only more like an 1/8th of an inch even with vacuum disconnected. Is there anyway to pull it apart and repair or does it need replaced? I was building 16psi boost last year and only 6 this year after winter so I'd imagine this is why?

It has no codes. I've had a live data stream up while the issue happens and everything looks fine. I will check the temp sensor. Also the issue is quick but the amount of fuel is large enough that if standing next to the car when it happens you can hear the motor bog down and run rough for 1 or 2 ...

It was the plastic inlet tube from the radiator support to the air box. It was sucking in when I'd rev it up, removed and drove. Have my boost back and trans shifts normally. Thanks for your help.

I'll go over them all again. I've replaced all the hoses with silicon and done a heavy duty tcv. The issue also seems to be causing some harsh trans shifts, it's an auto, maybe related. Not sure.
