I performed the ball joint service without that special tool. I bought an impact hammer (air) to get the ball joint separated from the knuckle (works well!). Then I just a piece of aluminium pipe to gently knock the new ball joint in place.

Do not use the bolts to "pull" the ball joint in place ...

My 2001 S80 2.4T did not have this seat frame, this video should help you. I bought the special tool to get the ring of, makes it way easier. Its fairly straightforward.

I have an 2001 S80 2.4T and was in the market for a V70. In the end I got an offer I couldnt refuse on the S80 and when I drove it I was sold haha. I also looked at the T6, but the twin turbo put me off a bit as in: what if I have to replace both turbo's?

I was finally able to get that stubborn crank pullet nut of with my new power tool, the DeWalt DCF899

Replaced a leaking power steering hose (nothing strange after 20 years of use) and did a flush of the fluid. I had a mini panic attack as it had the old minderal ATF fluid in it. Followed the video below and was instantly calmed down :D

Thank you. Can you link to the Projector? My 03 S80 T6 is being parked for now so may have time to do some suspension and perhaps light work. Water is getting into both light assembly.

You can also ...

Replaced the high beams with new LEDs. The old ones were from NightEye (right) and the new ones from Bullvision (left). They are a lot brighter and look like better quality.
