Re: S80 T6 lacks power

Tip, save some money and buy the "HD TCV" which is a Pierburg unit which is used on Porsches & Rovers https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47563469082_5439b5f42e_o.jpg Volvo S80 2.4T Pierburg TCV 7.22908.03.0 by ND-Photo.nl , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/33739122508_5439b5f42e_o.jpg ...

Re: Engine System Service Required

Dont know, but you are able to reset it using Vida. If your dealer is 2 hours away, I would suggest to invest in a DICE unit

Re: doing a PCV replacement

I dont think that the rotating trick is going to work due to the shortness of the piping.

Re: S80 T6 lacks power

Regarding fuel trims, they should be between -10% / +10%. The short term fuel trim might fluctuate a bit more which is ok. The most important is that the long term fuel trims are between -10% / +10%.

If these values are excessive, then you have a problem (like vacuumleaks etc etc)

Re: S80 T6 lacks power

Yep, your long term fuel trim should be between -10 / +10%. If you are buying a new TVC, then buy this one > https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=503746#p503746 There is an easy test you can do with your TCV, blow through the top hole or rear hole (cant remember which one exactly...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

Bought and fitted the so called HD TCV, which is basically a Pierburg unit with type nr: 7.22908.03.0 . Its used in Porsches & Rovers. I noticed positive change, especially with partial throttle. Recommended update if you have a tired TCV! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47563469082_5439b5f42e_o...

Re: Radiator cooling fan issues

Also replaced the gasket which came with the new housing then I believe? I mean the gasket between the housing, not the gasket between the housing and the engine.
