Re: 09 S80 Brakes
Just called the dealer and they show 110 ft lbs. but said they don’t show an s80 specific. How does a Volvo dealer not show that? Not sure how I would get to that amount in a garage on a floor jack. Any suggestions? Thx

Re: 09 S80 Brakes
Thank you, I have found so many different torque specs I didn’t know which to go with. So I went with 80 on the heavy caliper bolts, which is as high as my torque wrench would go. Guess I will call the dealership and see if they can tell me for sure.

09 S80 Brakes
Just did the rear brakes. Has the EBM, wasn’t too bad. Previous threads show really well how to by pass the electric brake. Ignition coils
Hello all, I just purchased the Delphi ignition coils for my daughters 09 S80 T6 on Fcp Euro . The price was literally half the dealer cost. Could this be possible? Getting ready to purchase rear pads and rotors any suggestions?

Re: Burnt ignition coil
Update, thermostat changes and you were right. It was in bad shape. Shop stated it basically fell apart when they took it out. So likely one of the issues. Thanks again

Re: Burnt ignition coil
Thank you all, replaced the coil, fuse and spark plug and started right up. The shop said the plug was shot. I just had the plugs replaced one year ago at the same shop. Compression was fine btw. I will be replacing the thermostat soon but money was tight. ran some temps with it on the scanner and i...

Re: Burnt ignition coil
Thank you for all your input. Compression is fine, and the fuse was replaced and new coil. I’m going to get a thermostat just to be sure although they said it was not needed.

Re: Burnt ignition coil
Also forgot, why would it seem like no compression after all that? The shop is checking it out but I like to know these things as they go wrong. Thanks
