Re: Heater Hose Replacement: Anyone done this? How?

You're on "hold" basically until you get the new junction thing. I pM'd you to call me since I JUST finished this whole endeavor...easier to verbally explain than snail post back and forth...oh well, good luck.

Re: Heater Hose Replacement: Anyone done this? How?

Yes-the intake to the turbo. (probably needs to come out to gain access to the heaterhose connections right?). Are they just "hose-clamped" under there? Also-I was trying to pull-out the hose where it goes into the firewall and cracked the plastic part. Now I need to replace that thing too...

Heater Hose Replacement: Anyone done this? How?

Well-I found my heater hose to be leaking. How to you gain access into this tight area? Do I need to remove the air intake into the turbo? Can anyone outline the process please? Thanks!

Fuel Pump replacement

So I need the fuel pump replaced on my S60 T-5.
It's a 2003 with 94,000 on it. Doesn't that seem a little pre-mature?
How many miles does it take to get to the center of a Volvo tootsie-pop fuel pump?
I was quoted $400 for the pump and $300 for labor. Am I getting (fuel) hosed here?

Problem solved...uh, sort of

Mr Ozark, thank you for your wonderful technical help. I was really at my witts end. I was about to call it quits and take the car in when I noticed a little red wire (12ga) that was hanging loose by the battery (+). It had corroded itself off the terminal. All the intermittent, on/off B/S was from ...

Posted code PO120.
I pulled the switch, no clicking at all.
Ordered a new one just now. I will post results.
So this switch will make my car shut down?
I've been having problems with my car shutting off randomly in very precarious situations. Any insight?
