... cleaned it (it was a bit dirty), but the problem didn't go away. Now when this message pops up on the dashboard - ELM scanner writes an error DTC P0727. Tell me, has anyone encountered such symptoms, and what helped (because I've seen that replacing the sensor doesn't always help)?

... code when it had trouble starting. When i did finally start the car was in reduced performance mode. I was able to catch the fault code from this ride and it came up with p0727. I'm hoping that the crank sensor replacement will solve my issues. If not I've heard a deep seafoam clean works wonders too.

Did you use the lock/unlock tool to get the pink sliders latched back into the locked ...

P0727 is no crankshaft position sensor. Now it really looks like a wiring problem.

So now I got a new problem, I tried removing the ECM and TCM so I could inspect them to make sure that everything looked in its place and now after reinstalling them the car will not start. Getting a p0727 and p2121 code now. Car will crank but will not start.
