Does the HU-803 stereo play MP3s in the CD player?

Does the HU-803 stereo play MP3s in the CD player?

I'm looking at a 2002 XC70 with the HU-803 stereo (very nice) but most of my music is MP3s and I'd hate to rip out such a beautifully integrated console peice to plug in an aftermarket stereo a 1/3 the size.

Question: Does the HU-803 stereo play MP3s in the CD player?
