electronic rustproofing - is it worth it?

I read about this in a mag today.

http://www.ruststop.com.au

An electronic device helps prevent rust and inhibits exhisting rust. It is called RS 2000.

It is $195 do it yourself or $340 installed (Australian $)

What do others think?

Is it a good idea for a 1996 Volvo owner wanting another 10 years or are these cars rustproof enough as they are?

Independent tests show it inhibits 76% of rust, or so they claim.

After reading the web site you can get the same results for a lot less money. Boat motors have anodes attached to prevent rust. The anodes can be purchased at a boat dealer aand then bolted to any bare metal.

Before you spend your money go to the following and see why there is no way it could work unless the car is underwater.
