Uncomfortable headrests - what can I do?

Post by Cat »

I have just purchased a 2004 XC wagon. I love it, except for the driver's headrest, which pushes my head too far forward. I'm 5'3" tall. My 6' husband thinks they're just fine. My last volvo, a '95 850 wagon had a much more comfortable seat/headrest.
Is there anything I can do to help minimize the discomfort? I don't want to have to switch the seat out for another type of seat. The dealer didn't have any suggestions, other than to try adjusting and readjusting the seat controls. Although they did report that many other women have found the seats uncomfortable too.
Help!

Usual and cheap way is to add a removable seat liner which u can add when using the car, and then remove when hubby is using.

Another way is to use a custom shaped cushion just for the back. You can start with a visit to a local IKEA store to check out standard cushions available.

hope this helps....
