Hello --
I have a recently acquired 1996 850 Turbo.
The radio has a single-CD player.
I have purchased a used 6-CD Changer, removed from another 850.
The radio slides out easily. On the back, I can see the mini-DIN connector (marked "CD"), and the cable goes off somewhere. Typically, I know, the CD Changer is installed in the trunk, on the driver's side.
I have yet to find the other end of this cable. Any clues as to where I might find it ?
If anyone out there has installed the CD Changer in the 850 -- Where did you find the cable ? I assume that it is coiled up somewhere... but where ?
All help is appreciated.
Thank you !

I found the answer to my question.

Changer location in on the left side of the trunk floor, at the rear of the car, below the electric antenna. Peeling back the trunk lining revealed the space for the chagner, and, sure enough, there was the DIN connector and the power connector for the changer.
Now that I know where it is... I might decide to put the changer in the glove compartment anyway.
