850 seat

Both front seats in my 1995 850T wagon will not recline, seat moves forward
up and down , but when the recline button is pressed a motor noise is heard but not motion on either seat ? What should I do ?

It's probably the seatback cable.

I have a 1993 850 with a drivers seat that will not recline. A motor sound is heard but no movement. Can anyone give specifics on making this repair?? Can anyone give further info on the seatback cable??

I checked out the link on the seat cable and am looking forwrd to doing the repair. Do you know if the instuctions differ for 'leather ' seats as opposed to the illustrated cloth seats??
