Question about '94 850 NA motor mounts
I recently changed the front motor mount along with upper engine bushing and eng/ trans torque mount. After installation of the front one I noticed pin that sits in the slot was pretty close to the bottom. I expected it to be in the middle. Is this a sign that the left and right are worn and engine is sitting lower. Cars has 174k and by the looks of the work that I've done to the car so far I think they're originals. Because of price constraints of good mounts I going to do one at a time. Will putting one new one in put undo stress on it, from the bad one? Is there one particular side that usually goes first. Thanks in advance

I'd check to make sure you installed the mounts correctly. That much displacement seems unlikely for the upper engine mount

I sorry if I didn't explain my situation corectly. What I am talking about are the two lower hydraulic mounts. Some people might cali them front and rear, but I would think to call them right (front) and left (rear), as if looking at the engine from the timing belt side. The mount that I think the pin is sitting low on is the by the crankshaft that you access from passenger side wheel well.
