I also managed to get a stock complete tank from a donor car in KC. Hopefully I will be able to get the tank into the car this weekend and try to fire it up to better evaluate the mechanical condition

Nice, that panel looks good. They’re R specific and far superior to the base car ones where the leather shrinks, so they’re rather rare and expensive to replace.chaosrob wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 06:14 Haven't done much, this week was pretty hectic. I was able to save the original passenger door panel that was water damaged. I think it matches up pretty well and will look good when installed.

Assume you are asking about oil filter wrench. I use only the steel band, cam adjustable oil filter wrenches. I have a large and smaller one.chaosrob wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:38 Okay guys, please excuse the mess as I had to move a lot out to squeeze the car in there.
After changing the tank, making a couple of lines , putting fresh oil in it is alive after over 13 years of sitting. I don't have a filter wrench that would fit so I didn't run it long. Any recommendations for a wrench that will fit, my local auto supply didn't have one. TIA
