Haven't done much, this week was pretty hectic. I was able to save the original passenger door panel that was water damaged. I think it matches up pretty well and will look good when installed.

I also managed to get a stock complete tank from a donor car in KC. Hopefully I will be able to get the tank into the car this weekend and try to fire it up to better evaluate the mechanical condition

Nice, that panel looks good. They’re R specific and far superior to the base car ones where the leather shrinks, so they’re rather rare and expensive to replace.

Donor tank/lines are from a ‘99 or ‘00 I hope? ‘98 uses a different setup since it’s a return-style fuel system as opposed to the returnless system on later cars

Thank you. Yes, the tank is from a 99 awd, although not an r. I am assuming the fpr is different for an r and regular?

Same fuel pressure regulator for awd and R models, actually even an NA 1999 or 2000 will work.

It takes a small L piece of vacuum hose off aT junction in the evap line to connect to the FPR

Okay guys, please excuse the mess as I had to move a lot out to squeeze the car in there.

After changing the tank, making a couple of lines , putting fresh oil in it is alive after over 13 years of sitting. I don't have a filter wrench that would fit so I didn't run it long. Any recommendations for a wrench that will fit, my local auto supply didn't have one. TIA

Assume you are asking about oil filter wrench. I use only the steel band, cam adjustable oil filter wrenches. I have a large and smaller one.

Unfortunately someone cut the cat and flex section of the downpipe off this thing. I have managed to get it running and obviously need to procure a dp or spend the time to fabricate one. I found one with the cat on ebay for 402.00 but like everything on ebay I always question quality, I am posting the link below and if anyone has experience with it I would appreciate hearing from you. The other option I found was from Viva performance, price on theirs is ~1400 and a 6-8 week timeline, quite the investment. Appreciate any advice.
