Do those 2000 R rear bumpers trade for a decent amount?

No, they’re identical to the rest of the AWD rear bumpers, they just have a special (separate) trim piece (like the one in the right for the rest of the AWD cars) and no blanking plate on the left.

Rob, that’s a real gem. Take this with a grain of salt, and don’t think you are sitting on a gold mine, but that’s a rare combo…

Well I can almost guarantee that I will have more money in it than it is worth as I am a bit odd about everything and replace a lot of stuff even before it fails. With this sitting in a field for over 13 years that is a lot of parts. I just wanted a fun challenge and to see if I could bring it back, self gratification is the only reward I am looking for.
After firing it up the other day I am getting transmission codes, hopefully this is just me needing to clean the pnp, if it is the actual trans that is bad then it will be a manual. I plan on getting it back on all 4 wheels sometime today and see if it will actually engage in gear and will scan the codes to have some answers hopefully.

One thing about 1999-2000 (and P2 as well)
Battery Bus voltage is critical. Many hours have been lost firing the parts cannon at codes, only to find weak battery, bad grounds, corroded internally postive cables ('But they look fine on the outside") etc.
The only test for wiring is a good DVM and probing voltages at component pins. referencing to B- or the Supply -
"But it cranks and starts fine" - the battle cry of a failed test.

Never underestimate the importance of solid grounds. Good info, thanks

Yeah, definitely check all the grounds and make sure you have a good battery. If it didn’t before, you might still have stored ghost codes
I’d highly suggest picking up a copy of VIDA on a VM (volvodiag.com) and a DiCE unit - it’s the factory Volvo scan tool and will tell you far more info than any any other scan tool, even expensive professional ones

can anyone confirm that the rear driveshaft bolts to diff torque spec is 26 ft lbs then 90 degree turn? Are these bolts reusable or one time use? Red loctite or just torque?
