Back on MVS. Its been awhile. New Username for me!

Post by JaydieselV70R »

Hey Everyone, I am back. My old user name was JayDiesel. Just had to re register to JayDieselV70R. I tried multiply times thru the past year to get a hold of Matt to find out why I couldn't get to my account never heard back from him. So I just gave up, I just start a new account. Well nothing has changed with me trying to find enough time and funds to work on my cars. Cars still up in the air for the past few years. Just started to build a carport for the cars, well I start figuring out planning and surveying for a future 3 or 4 car garage.

Been Lurking for the past few months without access for making comments, but reading how a few guys have changed out their 2000 V70R from AWD to Front Rear Delta Suspension. Also Chatted with HandyDan about the fuel tank changing out too. Slowing making a list to do it, again. Went to the junk yard this morning to try to get a whole rear out of a car or two but the way the junkyard had the cars positioned on blocks. Can't get access to removing some bolt before the rear wheels. Since no lots guys were working on a Sunday to position the cars better. I have to go during the weekdays. But the weekday doesn't have the 50% off sale like this weekend. So I may just try to find a cheap donor car to work on at my property.

Its interesting to see some of the long time members still hanging in there and a lot of newbies joining. And a few Newbies really finding some of the rare cars that some of us Long time Volvo owners can't find or can't afford (having another old Volvo or Headache). 8)

Did you try contacting me via email or the contact form?

Either way, let's get you back your OG account. Email me [email protected].

Jaydiesel, I just emailed you your new password for account Jaydiesel.

Let me know if you don't get it. My email address [email protected] is used by spammers* and has been for around 15 years, so there's a chance some domains refuse mail from it. I'd be surprised if your email domain did refuse, but stranger things have happened.

As far as the MVS contact form, it was down for some time, throwing an error. Someone recently let me know... they happened to have my email address, or they posted here about it, I forget which. That was an easy fix for a dumb problem I caused.

* it doesn't actually work with any major recipient email service (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) because mail sent by scammers with a From address of [email protected] but without the correct SPF/DKIM/DMARC signature will fail a spam check and end up in spam folders (or not even get that far)
