I forgot to disconnect the brake lines and fuel line. WOW how durable they are!!! See below.
As you can see, I managed to remove the spaceship ONLY by bending it upward before spinning it.

I had already loosened the 12mm nut on steering rack to drop it out. I thought that was all that was required. OH BOY I tried dropping it out and that one bolt held the entire weight of the subframe. WOW THATS A STRONG BOLT!!! But turned out the paired bolt had to be removed completely.

On the head, I noticed a difference in the carbon build up on the intake valves. The three on the passenger side and farthest driver side were all fairly similar. But second from driver side was kinda oily. Im assuming that was a cause of the misfire it had? However one of the far driver side valves had a strange gray crusty on it. Strange.

Save the spaceship and that steering coupler. Those aren’t available new any more

Be very careful using cement blocks to support things like cars and engines. Results like shown in your photos - broken. High risk of personal injury. Best to use wood blocks or jacks.

Ive saved the spaceship. But Ill figure out how to get the steering knuckle off. Are you refering to the steering rack or pinion? is it the thing I posted a pic of?

I have a few pics of some damage on the transmission (flex?) plate and inside the bell housing.

Nothing to worry about on that flywheel and clutch pressure plate

See pic for thing to save! You want all the hardware too, the funny butterfly bolt at the top is also NLA

The coupler should come off the rack ok after your remove that pinch bolt , soak it in liquid wrench or PBB for a day, then gently tap it up to come off.

Yes will do. Will remove then get shipping info. I only have Paypal btw.

Also do you want the spaceship? I slightly bent the elbow in order to remove from manifold but can easily be bent back into place.

Another idea...
After welding on the new front wall, I could design the structure inside to install a plexi window.

For an old truck camper shell back window I went with Polycarbonate (Lexan). It might fine scratch more than plexiglass, but is much stronger.

Also my dear departed Pappy would have liked your fuel line from trailer idea. When we were kids dad pulled a 15' foot trailer with our 1964 Volvo 122 wagon. It would overheat on grades so he tapped into the trailer fresh water tank with a rubber hose and electric pump with spray nozzles he mounted in front of the radiator!

That is really cool.
Because of the safety issue, of a possible combustion upon accident, I am likely going to exclude a linked hose and instead at most only use it for siphoning.
