Volvo C70 '99 swap B5254T with B5234T3

Hi guys, I found another B5234T, this time from a 2001 V70, just 160k km (~100k miles), bare engine without ancillaries.

Would it be a good fit for my '99 C70? @abscate do you think that my ETM would work with that?

The software on the ETM has to match with the software onthe ECU. You need VIDA to check this. The ETM can be reprogrammed but it is expensive, about $500

The idea would be to keep my ETM with my ECU and just tune it to accomodate the 2.3

The 01 V70 B5234T should be similar to mine, right? So ETM, same fuel rail and so on?

It will work with the right software but there are many revisions of software that might be on a used ETM. Some will work and dome will not , with a given ECU
