Not sure on the FWD, but on the AWD the roll over valve is back there and in normally open unless it is doing the leak test cycle.

Well after being derailed for a while with 850 issues, I decided that it was time to finish up the V70's interior.
The seats are the worst of it, but luckily I had grabbed I good set from the junkyard about a year ago when I started on this project. Some saddle soap should have them looking nice, cleaned, and softened.
At least the headliner is in perfect shape.

Nice find! I've had no dice finding good beige seats for my V70 anywhere within my region, though I did find good black seats local to me. Maybe if I get desperate enough...

Finding junkyard seats like those is past history for us worst is when you find a car with the doors left open to the weather and they were destroyed inthe junkyard. It’s a sign of end of days.

So another difference between the '99+ years and '98- is that they jipped us a seat spring. '99 has 4. '98 has 5.
No problem drilling some new holes. But I realized that I couldn't use the passenger seat back skin since it came from a manual seat and mine is electric. One hole too many. But I guess I could go deeper down the rabbit hole, and remove and restitch the seat panel with my side piece. In the mean time I'll give it the treatment in a couple of days. Still better than it was.
