Hello everyone.
I'm writing from Spain, so before I continue, I apologize for any translation errors.
I own a Volvo 850 T5 (B5234T).
I bought it with a broken head gasket and rebuilt it. The engine block was bent.
After rebuilding it, I have 7 bar (101 psi) of pressure in all 5 cylinders, which is very low.
I'm writing to you to get your opinion on what to do.
Option 1: Remove the cylinder head and redraw the plan and/or use a thinner head gasket.
Option 2: Since it's impossible to find an engine with the same part number in Spain, look for another one that's as similar as possible. Which one should I look for? B5244? B5252? I only need the engine block and cylinder head; I'd use my own for the peripheral parts.
I also need advice on the passenger airbag cover on the dashboard. It's completely broken and I need to replace it. Do I need to get a complete dashboard or just the airbag cover?
I attach two photos, one of compression and another of my dashboard
Thanks
