Cheap Bluetooth scanner VOL-fcr compatible

Post by LOB »

Keeping the outdated VOL-fcr program working with a laptop isn't getting any easier. Fortunately that guy from Finland made this android app with all the functions and some additional features "850-OBDII" . Some of the cheap Bluetooth ELM-327 readers doesn't have the proper chip and won't work with the app. I found this one at AliExpress that does actually work;

That's what I have, too. Unfortunately, last time I tried to use it, it would not connect. I think I may need to buy something else, now.

For Vol FCR i use a kkl vagcom I bought years ago. For the Xiaotec android app I have a Veepeak elm327, not the big fancy one, a short blue one I paid like 18€ for on Amazon. Works great, even for the advanced stuff like getting the VGLA code
