Is it possible to use them on 850/SV70 before year 1999? They've changed cv joint and hub design in 99, so it's possible this seal wouldn't fit

This supposedly also fits 98 cars as well with the older large lock nut on the hub. It will depend on the axles for a 94 and what the ends are like to have the provision to fit the seal. If you look at Abscates pictures on page one, you will see there is a lip on the end of the axle just in front of the reluctor ring where the seal fits to hold it in place. Why people often don't find them on their cars is a) they were never fitted, or b) they rotted and fell off. When I have removed axles here in Canada from P80's and P2's they are often pretty cracked and split.

If you can post a picture of an axle end I have some seals I believe and I can measure the dimensions to see if they would fit.

So, I've got my hand on a pair of those seals. Turns out - you couldn't fit them on pre 99 cars.

Wheel bearing design is diffrent - on pre 99 cars the surface to which CV joint is mounted is flat, on 99 and onwards cars, it has a step for this seal.

Because of that, you couldn't fully seat the CV joint on the hub with this seal
