Well, I ordered the fronts to see how crappy they are. They were cheap enough that I figured I'd rather take the chance with them than to try to find a universal fit. I needed a few other things any way.... oil drain plug, gaskets, dip stick o-ring, and a tensionor nylon thing.

How about the Weathertech trunk mats? They don't have molded floor mats, but supposedly they have the trunk mat. It's a bit pricier than the Rensi floor mats, so this will probably wait.

I have weathertech mats in my Toyota 4Runner. It is probably the same for all brands where dark grey or black are ok, but the beige ones I have have marked up badly and always looks dirty. Even pressure washing them at the car wash does not improve them.

The Volvo mats have held up the best over the years, but obviously getting them for 20+ year old cars is hard to do. I looked at pictures I took of some of the mats I have, and the camera with flash makes them look terrible but in front of you they are not that bad for 20+ year old items.

Probably look to sell them off locally if I can as shipping is high as mentioned before. The carpet sets are not too bad, but the rubber mats are very heavy.

I got the Rensi front floor mats on Friday. They were all rolled up, stiff, and looked terrible. I put them on top of my computer to warm up, and didn't think about them while I was online. Later, I looked over at them and was amazed to find they had unrolled and looked as if they had never been rolled up.

If they actually fit the car, I'll be very happy. They look great, but so far, they're just sitting propped up on a spare chair.

I'll get them in the car tomorrow, and see how they fit.

I got them in the car today. The passenger side went in first, and looked really good. The driver's side needed the retainers unscrewed from the carpet. Front to back is pretty good, but it's slightly small side to side. I think they'll work well, though. They don't cover as much near the firewall, but over all, I'm happy with them. They're not perfect, but I think were a good purchase.

Now to find something for the trunk. I might look to see if I can find a decent size rubber boot mat for a home. I probably don't need something fitted for the trunk, as long as what I get doesn't slide.

It depends on the car. It's easy to pour out water from Rensies. However, they feel quite stiff and plasticky and unfortunately slide around on the floor very easily and because of that, on my current Saab 9-5, the accerelerator pedal got stuck behind the mat when I floored it for overtaking! Thanks to God I didn't crash, but I immediately ordered a custom made EVA mat from a local company after that and I'll get rid of the Rensi as soon as I receive the new one.

That is why I like the Volvo mats as they clip onto lugs in the front foot wells. Downside is in wet areas, the metal bar holding the plastic pins in place for the mats can rot away unseen under the carpet.
