Do88 intake fitment on the stock 15G

Used a smoke machine to find multiple vac leaks in my original intake: the turbo inlet and the ptc valve. Ordered a do88 intake to replace the original one. It’s huge and clearly intended for larger turbos, but the instructions assure it will seal up to a stock turbo. It looks like a lot to band clamp down on a 300 part. If the tube creases, I’ll lose my mind. Has anyone installed one of these in the same manner?

I was very close to ordering that part but I was able to seal my intake tube up with a new rubber mount for the PTC valve. Im curious to see how your turns out. Also you may check on swedespeed or one of the other performance volvo forums to see if anyone has had issues.
