v70 alarm, help. Topic is solved

when locking 1998 v70 with remote, the alarm goes off after around 5 minutes. took it back to garage, they cant find anything wrong, clearly there is a fault. does anyone have a solution, other than locking it with the key?
also, where is the alarm, i thought about disconnecting it but cant find it anywhere?

it should be located behind the right headlamp.... if You disconnet it You will not be able to start the engine!
