My 94 850 wagon (165K miles) has held up GREAT to a busy family on the go, climbing in and out, slamming all the doors...(kids!), and generally abusing our great car. This includes the rear hatch, as the third-row seat has been in constant use for the past 1.5 years. Consequently, the interior covering over the rear hatch began to come undone several months ago. Our mechanic suggested duct tape. Seems like there are plastic screws bolting it to the door, and over time they've all snapped/broken off. Now it's off altogether. Problem is, we want to sell the car...(uh, time for a minivan)...
Any suggestions on an inexpensive cosmetic fix? Likewise, suggestions for any decent solution (costly or not) are welcomed -- naturally, having the wires and metal exposed on the inside of the rear hatch makes the car "look" in much worse shape than it is.
