Uro parts

Any info on Uro parts, particularly control arms? I had to replace them on one of the cars due to a worn out bushing after 32,000 miles. Not sure which brand I got last time, the new ones are Uro.

For control arms I don't know.

I've used a URO brand motor mount and a URO branded PCV service kit. The stuff I did use fitted up perfectly and has thus far performed perfectly.

I have my doubts about anything but OEM for control arms but it would be real nice to have a decent alternative. If you decide to use them keep us posted as to how they work out.

OK, thanks. They are already installed and had no problems during the install. Got both of them done in about an hour. I looked all over them for a "Made in ..." but found nothing. The name would make one think Europe somewhere but we know how that goes. Will keep you posted on longevity.

Update - while checking on a noise coming from the front suspension, I found the ball joints are toast. I got 14,000 miles out of them, about one year! I guess my question has been answered about Uro parts.

I had a similar experience: I installed Uro control arms on my '94 850 in 7/08, and the ball joints were shot by 4/09! What's worse is 1) I never push it, and 2) I barely went 8k miles! You've been warned.
