Gear Stick vibration 2016 V60 T4 manual

I have a problem where the gear stick vibrates at certain speeds in certain gears. It doesn't happen every time, it seems to be more common in warmer weather than when it's colder.

The speeds are 45 km/h in 4th, 70 km/h in 5th and 80 km/h in 6th. When it first started only 5th was affected. There's no problem in the first three gears, I can't feel any vibration in the gear stick. In 4th to 6th I can always feel some vibration in the stick but sometimes it's not enough to make a noise. Sometimes it's quite loud.

The car also wears out clutches in only 3-4 years which may be related.

The mechanic at my local Volvo dealer is uncertain what this might be and investigating is expensive. My only idea is the double mass flywheel might have failed. It feels like a resonance problem, I think of anything else that might resonate.

Has anyone solved a similar problem?

You may be correct on your diagnosis. What is the mileage on your car? Probably too new for engine mount issues, but if it is getting up to over 150kkm it may have one that has failed or is torn.

When you get the vibration, assuming it is manual, if you press the clutch peddle down, does the vibration stop when the car is at the speeds it has the issues?

If it is automatic, (I don't know much on the newer cars) it will be harder to do, I don't recommend putting it in neutral while driving.

The last issue could be worn bushes in the gearshift mechanism.

The car's mileage is around 115k km. It has a manual gearbox.

The issue is getting harder to trigger now it's getting colder, but my memory is that the issue stops if I put the clutch down, or if when driving downhill and the engine goes into fuel save mode (consumption drops to zero and some part of drive train disengages).

If the issue or vibration goes away when you press the clutch down when the car is moving, It would suggest the issue is more likely to be in the Engine/transmission area. So your thought on the clutch may be a good point to look at.
