We adopted her from ARF inEast Hampton, an hour away. She is a real Sweetheart. Had four puppies when found in GA, was in NY for 6 months. We visited her on a Saturday , she walked with a loose leash, returned on Sunday to bring her home. They think she is about 4. Danesdont live thst long so we hope she has lots of lab , too.

Well, first vet visit. They put her at about 21/2 years old. She is a giant cat, and likes laps.

Rental house bathroom:
New flooring, reset fixtures, fix mold, prime, caulk, paint. Remind tenant there’s a fan.

Next step - new kitchen sink & faucet.

They’re gone for 3 weeks.

Wire fan to room lights !

While I was in California at a conference I pulled out the wallet and paid my guy to do a job I was dreading, cleanup behind my parts shed. This will make a lumber amd tire rack

I had a fantasy I would do 15-30 minutes a weekend this Spring.

I come home to two cubic yards of beautiful block all stacked.

Pictures to come…before amd after

While working on camshaft seal replacement project, my trolley jack decided to stop lifting. I had to resort to an old Walker crank scissor jack to lower the car to the floor. My bottle hydraulic jacks did not have enough lift travel to do the job.
So new project is resealing the trolley jack. I ordered parts from this site:
https://www.hcrcnow.com/
They seem to have seal kits and parts for most any hydraulic shop tool.
I will try to report on results.

I learned over the decades to buy only the best faucet parts, so I only have to do replacements every couple decades. I prefer Moen.

I found a leaking floor seal on a toilet yesterday. I put in a new wax seal this morning. I found the old seal was a foam seal. Now I remember not more than a year ago installing the foam seal thinking it would be better than wax ring.
NO! Use the old reliable wax ring.

Wax rings only! A plumber taught me if the toilet sits too high to seal because of flooring or thick tile, stack TWO wax rings.

I noticed Ace Hardware offered an extra thick wax ring for that problem. I used the standard wax ring.
