I love Conti DWS tires. I bought them for my (long & gone, sadly) Volvo 2004 V70 R back in 2010. And I love Tire Rack... this purchase is $32.56 less than buying the same tires from the same Pep Boys store.

Tire Rack
Tires: $108 x 4 = $432.00
Shipping: $69.84
Sales Tax: $17.28

Pep Boys
Mount, balance, stems: $66.00
Sales Tax: $0.61

Total
$585.73

My buddy just gave me me a set of 235/45/17 dws's he had laying around his shop. They are great in the snow and the ride is WAY smoother than my old bridgestones. 235's are a bit to wide though, I rub at full lock. I like the way they make it look meaner though.

Oh yea, 235 is quite wide for a P80 Volvo. I bet it looks like it could grip the side of a brick wall :-).

Just put the XC on a set 17" S60 wheels I got used with worn P7 235/45/17, looks funny as the tires are just too small, but we briefly stuck them onto the old 855 & it just looked bada$$ but was rubbing in the rear.
Got a set of Conti PureContact in 235/55 in the mail to set it right on the XC, hope I'll like those as much as you like the ExtremeContact.
