Security error when clicking from Google to MVS

I got a security alert when clicking through from Google to MVS. Something about SSL certificate domain didn't match. Sorry, I clicked past too fast and now I can't recreate it. I'm using Firefox with uBlock Origin. Not sure if the error was thrown by Google, Firefox, or uBlock Origin. I couldn't recreate the problem in Firefox or in Chrome.

Also interesting, after I clicked through, MVS did not have me logged in. I visited directly and I was logged in from a previous session as always.

I just logged out, shut down the MVS site, and restarted without a glitch. I also use Firefox and uBlock Origin. No SSL certificate notice.

I can’t get into MVS on an old Safari browser on an ancient Mac from 2008.

Why can’t I have nice things ?

My browser has continued to act a little funny. I always remain logged in to MVS. After getting this security error, I was taken to the site logged out. I left that logged out tab open, logged in with another tab, and posted. A few days passed, I refreshed the tab where I was logged out, and it was still logged out (I expected it to be logged in since I had done so in other tabs). I thought I could replicate the security error so I did a Google search for MVS, clicked through to the forum, and was logged in. Refresh the tab which had me logged out and it was logged out. Weird.

I guess this is something to do with cookies, browsers remembering sessions, perhaps even being identified differently when I visit directly or click through Google, etc. Maybe it's not worth worrying about but I thought I'd mention it.
