Difference between High pressure and low pressure Turbo

Today took my car to the local Volvo specialist who told me that my car may not be a 225bhp T-5 as it's not boosting as it should, I've been saying that for a while, it was mentioned there were several versions of the T-5 variant one with high pressure rest with low pressure they suggested I contact my Volvo agent for them to check via my vin code

Can anyone tell me how my Vin code decodes HPT or LPT ?

tour vin number will tell which engine you have the 6th and 7th digit for us and canada
7th and 8th for "others" thats what my book is showing. It should be 53 or 51 i cant recall which is the high pressure

51 - LPT -Low pressure turbo
52 - CHPT - R model only - Crazy High Pressure Turbo ( That's a joke. Did you see what I did there? - With the "Crazy" part)
53 - HPT - High Pressure Turbo

except from Vin code really makes things interesting

57 is Turbo Variant B5254T not the 2.3 T-5 on Timing case says B5234T
06 is AW50-41 Auto
V is 1997
2 is Belgium

Must ad my Car is a an English model
ECU is bosch for the EFI and Aisin for the Autobox [at least thats ok]

I think the confusion has been resolved from the official either US or UK Service manual parts, see added PDF, 57 is the UK 2.3 Turbo engine 55 would be a 2.5 Turbo
