Disable Seat Belt Warning

Post by CherryGhost »

OK, bark at me if you want, but I'd really like to know how to disable the seat belt warning noise on my 2005 S40. I know Volvo is committed to safety and all that, but every once in a while either I'll be making a short trip without my belt on or I'll have something in the passenger seat that's heavy enough to trigger the sensors, and the incessant warning noise is unwanted. I'd love to know how to get rid of it. Please help? I promise I'll wear my seat belt all the time in the future.

Do yourself a favour and go to the nearest scrap yard and cut your self a couple of seatbelt catches that will fit your s40 clip them in and no more beeping. I have a v40 and works like a bomb.
