yea, i got some from ipd for like 23 bucks or something instead of 50 something from the dealership, and they work great!

Another vote for OEM. Never had a problem!

I recently upgraded the Volvo OEM plgs with the NGK Iridium plugs and have noticed just a bit of difference in throttle (placebo) but I can tell you, it runs just a little louder/ rawer with the hotter plug. Barely noticeable, but I love it.

I believe you, I used Champion, same number as printed from the owners manual, and wow,,MPG were best but never over 65 then 100 mi per day, 28 mpg, 70K..

Personally I use Denso TT Plainum from Advance @ $2.99 ea better mileage and seat of the pants performance. other plugg are good in other vehicles. Next will try thier Irridum plugs. Bosch used to rule, but NGK are my next choice. Volvo OEM plugs are allwaws a safe bet but pricey. Densos in Xc 70 S40 and Chevy colorado no fails/probs and better MPG. Know this an old post but hope it will help others. Best friend (Volvo Master tec) was against anything but Volvo OEM plugs but was amazed at the Denso's. Just my experience. Drive it like you stole it, I love these plugs!
