I'm shopping for cars with a friend, came across a 2005 S80 2.5t, 145,000 miles.
Since there seems to be a lot more information for s60/v70 than S80, I wonder if this model is basically mechanically the same as the P2 s60, v70s, with 2.5t inline-5 and Aisin 5 speed?
Or are there issues specific to those models.
I personally drive a 2004 xc70, wonder if my experiences can apply to this 2005 S80 2.5t.
Are 2005 S80 2.5t basically the same as S60? Topic is solved

Yes they are similar, especially the engine and driveline. I have been tempted a few times when I have seen a 2.5T with AWD for sale.
