Like the title is saying.. I am having a hard time to get an Volvo S60 2.4 Turbo with 200hp running again.
The problem was that the only key has been burned by fire in a different car which we had an accident with. So the transponder was melted.. The keyblade was still intact.
So i first tried to program a new key on the CEM module ( I have a lot of tools like programmers etc ) but after desoldering the flash from the CEM module, there was that brown epoxy on the chip which not let me read the chip, so i wanted to scrape the epoxy from the chip, and 1 pin was broken from the chip!!
So plan B, i went to the scrapyard, and picked a complete kit from a car, so ecu, tcu, cem, ignition coil ring, key, and cluster but they all had different partnumbers..
I cutted a new key, and putted the new transponder in the key, so no immobilisation. The car was cranking, but not starting. So i think that there is some different in the flash of the ecu, but i am not sure..
Is there any information about immo in the flash of the ecu? The ecu is an ME7.0.1
Otherwise i could try to transfer the flash from the ORI ecu to the DONOR ecu, and hopefully it would start again..
Or does anybody maybe have another input in this story??
Thank you already for reading and taking time to answer!!
