Bulb condom, boot, cap, sleeve? Also they are blue but the instrument lights appear green to me?? What LEDs have you guys installed that are a nice color and most important not crazy bright. To get the brightness within a normal range i am installing resistors on the bulb sockets.

I personally like oem look. You can find those by the name "instrument cluster bulbs" . If is remember correctly there are 2 designs of them. One is short and another tall depending on application(radio, cluster, illumination). For the fraction of the price you can find those on amazon, and reuse your base(twist new "legs" around base. Will need to transplant blue "condom" from old to new. I always opted for "lazy" but more expensive approach and replaced with oem(if old lasted 15 years, hopefully new ones will last as well)

The bulb is generic. Search forum for Honda bulbs etc.

The blue condom...best is to get used radio or instrument clusters at junk yard, this way you get the factory color look at night.

This is bc the blue condom sold on Digikey etc has a different color of blue.

I always buy my bulbs from http://www.autolumination.com/ , it's a sketchy site but he delivers. I just buy the incandescent ones to replace, $2 each. You're looking for T4 neo-wedge Type B.

I have asked him about the blue filter situation, not sure if he can source them. I'll let you know when I hear back. I always purchase the clear bulbs and install the sock from the old ones. Yours looks burnt.

EDIT: They have them in stock here : http://www.autolumination.com/automotiv ... b_caps.htm I think you want the T5 WHITE 8K

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

I think it is misleading. It says "interior bulb" and not kit, set, or in description says includes 6...it is price for 1 bulb as i see it.

Yeah I interpret the text "interior bulb" is correct not the image. Given that FCP sells one bulb for $12 USD that fits pretty well. But that is for sure the right part, FWIW.

Thanks for the replies, i have a few ECC's a spare so i will check them.

I'm not going to preach the benefits of LEDs over incandescent, but if you spend time in the car waiting like i do, running the battery flat can happen as all dash lights stay on with accessories ignition. Plus the heat issue that incandescent have.

The instrument switch is set to lowest brightness.

DSTC is a Optosupply 3mm 12V warm white diffuse flat-top resistor LED Rated at 750mcd at a 140° viewing angle. OSM5DK3HE2B-12V
the child lock mirror and parking are same LED but with blue covers.

STC is a Optosupply 3mm 12V green diffuse flat-top resistor LED Rated at 1120mcd at a 140° viewing angle. OSG5DA3HE4B-12V

Note: the two child lock (hostage) switches both work but only in that position.
Ive found it difficult to find Warm white LEDs from the major parts suppliers, they can be found online but always super bright.
