Will '98 850 alternator fit an 02 S60 (both with T5 engines)

My wife has a 2002 s60 with a bad alternator (getting a message claiming 'electrical system needs service'). I put a new regulator from IPD on the existing alternator and the same message appears. I have a 98 T5 950 with a blown engine. Will that alternator work as a replacement?

Check FCPEuro but I believe the alternators between P80 and P2 are not interchangeable.

Also rotation (CW vs CCW) issue too...

The P80 -98 alternator as cn90 says rotates the wrong way unfortunately. Belt routing is also different.

Mounting bolts amd hardware on the RN block, from 1999- , are completely different too.

Other than spatial, mechanical, and electrical differences, they are identical. The colour is a bit different too.
