I have a 2002 V70 2.4t. It just over 90K and has been a great car for the past 70K miles we have owned it. Just today it set a TCM-0094 Gear Selector fault. The instrument cluster indicator operates as intended & the trans shifts perfectly but the code pops back up after being cleared. Scanner data indicates operation of the switch with movement through all gear positions but position indicator on the console does not light up.
Additional history, my warning triangle has been on for 2 years since Installed LED headlamps, which do out perform the halogens on my rural roads.
During the scan I found these other codes but again everything is working properly. None of these codes turn on any warning indicators CEM-6A02;Door lock signal high, CEM-8F21; Wipers signal high/missing, Uem-0004; Siren Communication fault, DDM-002B; Mirror motor MC signal low, DDM-0024; Mirror Motor MX+ low. ABS-0100: communication error with ECM. I have inspected for any rodent damage and the data through my scanner indicates that it TCM is registering shifter movement correctly.
I am thinking about cleaning ECM, TCM & ABS connectors as a start. Any recommendations would be great.

I would try to find official data troubleshoot of this code. Possibly pay for alldata DIY for 1 month vs trying to dig up info in vida. It is possible that system is using redundant inputs. Gear selector for example reports to ecm, but it also has an input sensor inside transmission that shows what gear the car is. So possibly input from trabsmission is incorrect and thus car has code. It interprets as "active fault" so hopefully it will be easier to trace something that constantly present. Sorry unsure of specifics, but that os my guess.

LED drivers emit a lot of interference into the power system, it is well known that replacing halogen bulbs with cheap LEDs can cause problems with electronics.
I would start with disconnecting the LEDs, clearing the codes yet again and checking if your problem is resolved.
