Hi. Do you guys know something about the p2 amp harness? I got the p200 with the cables for cheap but i cant find the power connector under the passanger seat. I removed the seat and search all day but its nothing. Saw something on the forum about the hraness could also be behind the headunit ?
What can i tell is that the car already have the 30A fuse and there is a red wire going from there somewhere..

Which head unit are you using? The base units have a built in amplifier, so if your car came with that you may not have the cable. On the older P80's you had to buy a separate harness that ran from the head unit to the amp under the front seat and back.
I had a quick look at the Volvo electrical part section for the P2 03 V70. Most harnesses appear to be no longer available. Volvo also use many stupid and unhelpful descriptions for stuff that no one else calls them, so it is hard to try to see what you may need.
Neil.

The HU613. I have the 2 cables for amp-hu communication. I just cant find the power harness that supposed to be under the passanger seat.
As i said, i check the fuse box, and there is a 30A fuse already and a red wire going from there to ..somewhere.
I also have the subwoofer harness in the truck.

I would first establish which side of the fuse is positive, then disconnect the battery, use a fox and hound signal tracer , start by putting the fox signal in the power cable at the fuse and follow the wire with the hound.
I can follow the signal through the harness, even picks up the signal behind a fender.

I think the Volvo p200 amp has two audio sockets and one power socket.
One is the European audio DIN round socket with pins for left right, front and back low level signals and ground from HU to amp. It also includes the important amp turn on signal.
The other returns the speaker level left, right front and rear speaker pairs from the amp to the fly lead that is normally plugged into the HU built in amp. When used with the Volvo external amp, the p200 lead is plugged into the fly lead.
I had thought there might be power from the head unit but I'm pretty sure there isn't. The p200 needs an additional source of 12v power, and ground. This is unswitched (due to the audio lead having the turn on) but should be fused.
In the audio section of this forum, there's some more details. Fazool wrote some great notes here:

Yeah , i pulled all the carpet not behind not in front. weird as the red wire from fuse 17 goes somewhere. I decide to put a new wire on the original wire and just solder to the amp 12v socket. Really dont know where the original wire goes..
