Right, I solve wireless Android Auto adapter in wife's car every year, sometimes twice a year, by heating its PCB up in air fryer. Crappy eco-solder... The problem returns regularly. PS: some years ago, I replaced the volume encoder in my Pioneer Stereo Amplifier at home bc of similar problems. In retrospect, my stereo problem could have been the solder joints but at that time, I was simply replacing the encoder. Anyway, some 15 years later, the stereo is still fine.
Volvo largely sorted its eco-solder out by mid 2000s. I had a 02 V70, had to reflow DIM and CCM. 05 I can't remember reflowing anything in two of them I've had.
If you, the reader, has to reflow anything in Volvo - use lead solder. Cheap assurance you'll be doing it the last time in this corner of the car.
