Well that's a good sign that the codes cleared right off the bat! Hopefully this did the trick.

Double checked dash lights and code before installation and all cleared by itself. Was sweating it

Yeah, I always try to be really careful with that stuff. I'm fine soldering wires, but I'm not the greatest when it comes to soldering circuits. I've overheated and lifted many contact pads on various parts!
I was able to successfully re-flow the circuit boards on many climate control modules, though. I fixed at least one or two Volvo 940 panels and the one in my last Accord.

I remembered lifting a couple. NOT a good feeling

After testing the repair removed to seal and is back in the car. Used a turn or two of the harness tape at the top of the screws to keep them from falling through while upside down.

Hi abscate,
Thank you for the offer. I found the 4mm sockets are a perfect fit. Have both a long and short one. The long one for intial hand turning and short one on a ratchet for final tightening. Around 10 years ago I was able to do the same on the 98 S70 T5 module but not sure whether if it was a metric or standard socket. Thanks again.
.

Not sure if I posted this already in another thread? Have been driving on this setup for several months. Still need to install the front inserts, front struts. Car hunkers down and is very stable with a lot more neutral steer besides greater feel and control on and off freeway ramps. Car height not noticeable with both parents sitting in the back.
FCP 9140099HD
Blaupart shocks
IPD inserts
C70 U Chassis Brace
The rear springs are recommendation from another forum member who has a fleet of S/V70 and have tried the various offerings. Thicker than Volvo spring, shorter but restored ride height and then some. Blaupart has been around for sometime and someone else verified it worked great on his S70. The chassis brace was purchased from a local Volvo owner. The picture of the part is from his car.
